Course Overview:

Specific Techniques:  By taking this class, you will learn and apply principles of three-dimensional sound in your events. You will learn specific techniques to place and manipulate musical elements (such as solo instruments, lead vocalists, foundation instruments like bass and drums, and backup singers) to enhance both points of interest and focus in your mixes.

Hands On: Students will perform many of the mix examples for the class using our 24 track live recording library.  Students also simulate 3D mixes in preparation for groups they have never mixed before.

Come prepared to have fun and learn!  Light refreshments will be served.  Bring questions about your systems and the way you use them for our open Q&A and Examples session.

Results:

By applying these principles, your mixes will improve in precision and sophistication.

1. Your Audience will experience a better show with the focus, separation, and clarity that your 3D mix delivers.

2. Your Band will gain increased trust in your ability to convey the mood, message, intricacies, and emotion of the music they compose and play.

3. You will enjoy having improved ability to control, manipulate, and place any musical element anywhere in your mix.

The skills you learn from this course will enhance your mixes as unique and sophisticated works of art.  Reserve your seat today!
